Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, Heidi Klum’s unforgettable 2016 Golden Buzzer recipient and finalist of America’s Got Talent Season 11, returns to compete with 50 of America’s Got Talent world’s best entertainers on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” January 2019, this time with his long awaited Holiday album, “Christmas Presents from Sal Valentinetti”.
Since racking up over 150 million views worldwide with his captivating AGT audition, available on YouTube, the celebrated charismatic crooner Sal “The Voice” has been invited to perform in countries around the world appearing in dozens of sold out solo performances on stages from Madison Square Garden in NYC, to opening for Jay Leno in Las Vegas, and to selling out the legendary NYCB Theater at Westbury like all of the greats before him.
Born August 26, 1995 to Steve and Maria Valentinetti, Sal was raised in the small town of Bethpage, New York. From a very young age Sal was influenced by his grandmother, Tina Valentinetti, to love the musical genius of the classic crooner sounds of Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra.
Ever since the Bethpage native showed off his singing chops and unexpected love for jazz on season 11 of America’s Got Talent, his life has been a roller coaster ride. Yet Valentinetti wasn’t always aware of his talent. It was during a horn lesson at 15 when it was uncovered. The instructor asked him to choose a song to play and Valentinetti started singing the lyrics to a song he used to listen to with his grandmother: Bobby Darin’s “Mack the Knife.” Taken aback, the instructor immediately urged him to get singing lessons. With further encouragement from his beloved Uncle Joe, Valentinetti started to take his skill seriously.
These days, singing is all he does. Valentinetti has been touring all over the nation and selling out shows back home at The Paramount in Huntington and the Patchogue Theatre.
“It’s really been incredible to see the amount of people, especially from Long Island, who have rallied around me,” said Valentinetti, who released a Christmas album this year. “There’s no place like home.”
